Do you already have your own mountain bike and are often out and about on forest trails with your parents or friends? Do you feel safe on easy forest routes and can control your bike? Would you like to learn the basics of riding technique and the rules in a bike park? We are happy to accompany you on what may be your first bike park experience. Above all, fun and anxiety reduction is centered, which can significantly increase riding safety.
You are below 10 years old, but this course would still appeal to you? Then take a look at the offer of "Private Coaching". Here we can arrange an individual appointment and an adapted duration of the course for the youngest of our riders.
The main components of the course are:

Level 2

This course is understood as an advanced course for children or teenagers. What does "Advanced" mean? Have you already gained your first bike park experience and maybe even attended a beginner's course with us? You get along well and without fear on green and blue trails and don't feel lost even on a red route? Do you feel ready for your first little airtime experiences and can you imagine taking it on with a rooted trail? We will accompany you on the next steps. We want to further deepen your riding skills with you and, if possible, kids / teenagers of the same age. We move a bit away from the pure flow trails and slowly make our way towards rougher sections. However, the focus of all our courses for children and teenagers is on reducing anxiety through more safety when riding in the bike park.

The main components of the course are:

  • Get to know
  • Bike check
  • Easy Loop Usage
  • Focus -> Blue and Red Trails
  • The first elements can become a topic, such as the "Whale Tail Drop" on the Time Shift, small wooden drop on the Brounce and Blow, tables on the Jonas & Pablo.
  • Deepening of the basics already learned from Level 1
  • Entry into rooted sections
  • First experiences of what "airtime" feels like
  • Safety while increasing speed
  • Duration -> 3,5h
  • Meeting point: Werkstatt Bike Shop

This course is for all those who have not considered themselves as beginners for a long time and would now like to take the next steps. Do you ride the green and blue trails while at sleep? You have the feeling that in order to be able to master tables, drops and jumps safely, you still need a few tips? You think that your speed within the trails can still be improved, but could you imagine trying a small section of a really rough track? Then choose this course.

The main components of this are:

  • Get to know
  • Easy Loop Usage
  • Bike check
  • Basics such as riding position, cornering technique and braking technique are required

We'll take you on our steep and rooted trails to get faster and safer and show you how to improve your air-time. For this course, it is an advantage if you already know our trails well.

Level 1-3

Are you wondering if private coaching makes sense compared to a normal course? We want to help you with the decision.

In advance, you should think about what you want to achieve or what you expect from a course with us. Especially for beginners, it is absolutely okay to do a beginner's course within a group, as it is more about teaching theory or basics, which is the same for all participants. It's not about making as many meters as possible, but first of all getting familiar with the topic of "bike park" and getting the right technique at hand.

Are you a very anxious type of person? Are you having trouble with specific elements in the park? Do you want to get the most out of your course time? Would you like to have a coach just for you who will take care of your concerns regarding riding technique? You don't see yourself in any of our other course offers? Then private coaching would definitely be worth considering!

Children under the age of 8 require more attention within the bike park. In addition, the duration of the group course requires a high degree of physical stamina and mental receptivity. It can therefore be useful for the kids to plan a shortened course time individually.

Feel free to write and we will find a solution together.

Would you like to have a guide with your whole family or with a larger group who will show you every corner of the bike park and give you valuable tips and tricks? Are you planning a "slightly different" corporate event? Do you think a bike park visit is just right for a team building event? Would you like to spend your birthday "in a different way"? No matter in which group constellation you can imagine a day in the bike park, feel free to let us know and we will discuss what is possible on your desired date. Such a guiding can be combined with a reservation at Hellermann's Hütte, where you can end the day.

Please note:

Since the riding skills, age and willingness to take risks can vary greatly within such a "mixed group", we explicitly see this offer as guiding through the park and not as a specific riding technique course. Nevertheless, your coach is freely available to you with all his knowledge and experience.

The Green Hill Kids Camp takes place over a period of 5 days and 4 nights directly at our "barn" in the heart of the bike park.

From the daily riding technique course to the mechanic workshop and various side events around the topic of mountain biking, you can expect active days where you can make new friends and share your hobby with like-minded people.

On Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, the bike park opens exclusively for you. Here you will first get to know the park in a relaxed atmosphere before you get down to the nitty-gritty. Gain great experiences and deepen your love for bike sports.

Together with our coaches, we as the Green Hill Family want to support you in your development in mountain biking and accompany you as you grow beyond yourself.

There are some surprises waiting for you in the side events... Stay tuned!

To make your camp experience at Green Hill Bike Park perfect, we require the following:

COACHES

Thanh

Level 1-3
I'm Thanh, 25 years young and I've been part of the Green Hill Family since the end of summer 2022. I have been cycling since I was a child and can proudly say that this is now also my profession. It doesn't matter if it's technical trails or big air jumps, I feel comfortable everywhere and just want to have a good time. I am very happy to share my knowledge from years of experience + completion of a D2 trainer/bike park guide training with you. Let's achieve your goals together in the Green Hill Bikepark.

Tom

Level 1-3
My name is Tom and I'm from Dortmund. After 13 years of active riding in bike parks all over Europe, I decided to pass on my knowledge and experience. Since I completed my training as a bike park coach in Leogang in May 2023, I have been part of the Green Hill Family. From big jumps to playful jibs to steep trails: the main thing is riding downhill! I am happy to find everything I like to ride at home in the Green Hill Bikepark and look forward to accompanying you on your individual bike journey.

Erik

Level 1-3
I'm Erik and I've been active as a team rider and coach at Green Hill Bike Park since summer 2022. When I'm not out and about at Green Hill Bikepark, I can be found either on pump tracks, skate parks or at dirt jump spots. I prefer to ride my dirt jump bike, but I also like to ride my Rocky Mountain Altitude almost as much. Come by and let's go for a ride!

Salome

Level 1-3 / Women
My name is Salome and I come from Middle Franconia. I found my love for MTB in 2018. I have been part of the Green Hill Family since the 2022 season. In Germany, of course, Green Hill is my absolute favorite among the bike parks. In contrast to the other coaches, I'm more of a classic enduro rider. Long natural single trails are exactly my thing. That's why the enduro bike is always my first choice.

Maren

My name is Maren and I was born in the Sauerland region. Natural trails that are likely to get "rougher" are exactly my thing. At the Green Hill Bikepark, I am your contact person for all day-to-day business and coordinate the bike courses, among other things. I am here for you with any questions of any kind and help you to have a good time on the "green hill".

Klemens

I'm Klemens, 15 years young and come from the Sauerland, I've been part of the Green Hill Family since the opening. I've been riding downhill intensively for a good two years and like to be on the bike, preferably with the whole team. In summer, I can always be found in the park or in the shop. I prefer to ride fast, rough and steep descents, but I also feel comfortable on the big air jumps. On weekends, I also like to go to races, which I take part in.
